HER HIGHNESS QUEEN ZAYNAB OBANOR

Born in Benin Nigeria,  Her Highness, Queen Zaynab is a globally recognized philanthropist and humanitarian who has used her profile and position to raise awareness of important issues such as poverty, education, and environmental sustainability both domestically and around the world.

In June 2016, on her Historic tour to the United States, she was honored by the City of Philadelphia, United States Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and  The State of New Jersey for her remarkable achievements and contributions to charitable efforts in the US and In Africa. Her Highness, Queen Zaynab created several humanitarian & philanthropic initiatives in their quest for peace and unity across Africa. Her passion for bettering the lives of women and children from impoverished backgrounds can be seen through her work with various charities and foundations across Nigeria - using her profile and position to raise awareness of important issues such as poverty, education, and environmental sustainability both domestically and around the world.  

 

Queen Zaynab's work with United Nations,  and various charities and foundations across the world has helped re-build schools, orphanages, and assisted refugees in IDP Camps across Africa.  

In 2016, Her Highness, Queen Zaynab partnered up with the late  Dr Babatunde Osotimehin, Director of the United Nations Populations Fund to access programs and initiatives in Nigeria for UNFPA n sexual and reproductive health and rights, notably as they relate to maternal healthyouth and humanitarian issues. The United Nations Populations Fund is active across the world in over 30 countries, Including Nigeria & South Africa.
